Poll with bloggy business

There is a new poll up! Be sure to vote in this one please. And, I'm running low on ideas for polls, so please leave a comment or email me if you have an idea for a poll. Thanks!

I don't know really how to poll this, but I am curious how many spouses/sig. others gave up their goals or dreams to support their partner in their medical journey. It seems common in my little circle of residency wives, and some I have met on blogs or facebook. It certainly isn't meant to be bad or negative thing and a lot of us will pick up where we left off once the training is done and our kids have gotten a little older...maybe? Just curious, I guess :) The polls are great! Hope you get lots of ideas.

Ideas, hmmn... How many times did your SO change specialties (before or during residency)? If you could do it all over again, would you? Which tv doctor do you like the most / is most like your SO (have we done that before?) How much are monthly student loan payments when repayment begins? (yikes) What did you do while SO was in med school / residency? (i.e. stay home, work from home, work outside the home, attend school, etc). Where did you live during med school / residency? (i.e. rent, own, apartment, house, on campus, off, etc). How much does SO help with parenting tasks? How often do you eat out? How do you keep in contact / how often do you keep in contact with SO while he / she is on duty? How - text, phone, email, skype, ESP...

That's all the ideas I have for now, lol. :) Great job with the polls, Melisa!

I think the polls are good. They make me visit the site more often. How about square footage of your current house, or how much is your monthly grocery bill?
