Hmmm, I keep forgetting to do these in the morning. At least it is still Monday, right? :o)

Any comments on last week's poll? Brad wasn't on call so we had him home all day. OH YEAH! But, we live no where near family, so it was just our little family. And it was wonderful. :o)

My husband was on call and we're 2200 miles from family so it was just me and our son. Christmas (and Thanksgiving) was my husband's holiday so he had to work Christmas eve and day and the weekend. He's also the only intern with a child...so is everyone else as thrilled as I am that we've hit the halfway mark?!

I feel ya on that one, girl! We are the only ones with school-age kids, but all of their breaks got taken by other residents. :o(

We've decided that while we're living away from family it's our time to "live it up" while we can. We're in the middle of second year, so we've got a nice long break right now. It's been wonderful to have my husband home (when he's not studying for boards) to spend time with our three kids - and some nice quality time with me! :) We've really enjoyed the opportunity to really solidify who we are as a family.
