MW said...: We're not in residency yet, and our type of housing greatly depends on where DH matches. However, we've lived in on-campus housing all throughout medical school (okay, I moved in between MS1 and MS2, when we got married, but he's been there the whole time). I love it. Friends are just an elevator ride away, and DH can walk to some hospitals or just take shuttles to the others, so I don't have to worry about him driving at all hours and on no sleep.
My commute to work is kind of rough, but we're in NYC, so it's all public transportation. A long riding commute isn't so bad because I can read or watch videos on my phone.
Also, the big plus - student housing is really inexpensive and safe.; March 16, 2010 at 2:22 PM
