Anyone know anything about Sioux Falls, SD? How about Keene, NH?

We actually live in Boston but Keene, NH is a pretty cute place. It's kind of a small town but surrounded by really beautiful scenery. It is also a "college town" but only about 6,000 students. I think it would be a great place to live. (but I prefer a small town to the big city)

I grew up in Fargo, ND and took quite a few trips to Sioux Falls where I have family. It's a decent sized midwest town with lots of shopping/restaurant options. It's got a really cute downtown area as well. Housing prices are reasonable as well. There isn't a lot to do in the winter unless you're into winter sports (snowmobiling, hunting, etc.)

I grew up in Sioux Falls so of course I'm going to tell you that it's amazing. :) But seriously, it was a great place to grow up and my hubby and I hope to move back there someday. SF has great schools and 2 major hospitals which are wonderful. Sanford is a little larger and always hiring new staff. There is very little crime. Check out ArgusLeader.com (the local newspaper) for more information on current happenings. As Sunny said, SF has lots of shopping and dining options, both chains and locally owned. Downtown is wonderful and of course, the Falls are a must see. The winters in SF are brutal and they get lots of snow. As Sunny said, there isn't a lot to do there in the winter but that's just like most Midwestern towns that gets lots of snow. If you want to know more feel free to ask... I spent 19 years (been away now for 5) in SF and my parents and in-laws still live there. I hope I can help :)

Thanks so much! I lived in MI, is it worse than that as far as snow goes? And I actually prefer small towns myself. If any of you are willing, my email is on my profile, I'd love to chat about these towns. Thanks!
