Excuse me

I need to get this off my chest.

If you know someone who is in the medical field, PLEASE be respectful of their family time. If you need to call and ask a question, fine. If you are requiring hours of assistance, find another source please. These guys need time with their families. No, not their Family of Origin, the one they are currently living with. Yes, we appreciate all that family members contribute to our lives, but there have to be boundaries. Their current family takes priority

That is all.

Come to think of it, I feel the urge to have a long talk with Brad about how food dye might be affecting the color of my childrens' stools. What's his cell? Can he spare a few hours??? : )

Stacie. It's probably just the beets (LOL). But just in case, maybe we should both call. ;)

Well said!!!

Before residency we'd get calls from some neighbors wanting medical stuff and we've dealt with it all 17 years of marriage (he worked in the med field). Whenever Dan would come home from residency for a weekend (I get 48 hrs every 4-8 weeks) someone would come over and ask him medical something (like they saved their questions just for him) and it bugged me! Never had before, but suddenly they were encroaching on my much anticipated and needed time. Now we don't tell a single neighbor when he's coming home. I don't facebook it or blog it and sometimes they don't notice until he's leaving. Haven't been bothered the last two times he's been home. :)
