Carol said...: We had a great Valentines weekend actually - because my hubby has some stocked up vacation days he needs to use up before July, he took the weekend off (including Friday and today!) He was in a horrible mood all weekend, which is even more frustrating since it was the 2 days we were together in 6 weeks, and then we got in a huuuuuuge fight over his mother's surgery, and how I can't take the time off of lab to come up, and even if I DID come up, if he is working he would be driving himself to work and I don't own a car, so am I supposed to walk 20 miles each way to visit her every day, etc. I am definitely ready to be living in the same state again.; February 16, 2010 at 5:42 PM
Nicole said...: Valentine's day? No, I guess we acknowledged the holiday between call/hospital, kids and church assignments. We are "saving up" for the time we will hopefully have after residency/fellowship is over, in like 4.5 years:). The guys are just so busy, it would be nice and wishful thinking to have a romantic evening somewhere but that requires time and money:).; February 19, 2010 at 2:34 PM
