personal blog

In your personal blogs do you use your real names or nick names?
I initially used our real names then thought it would be better to use nick names but Damian thinks I should just use our real names and not complicate things. So im not sure what to do...

Melisa said...: I use my name and Brad's name, but not my kids. And I have a private blog for my kids pictures and videos. I don't have any photos of them on my page. I don't know how much that helps, but I don't really worry about stalkers. I'm more concerned with some sicko finding their pictures and reposting them in unsavory places.; April 5, 2009 at 8:43 PM

Anyway, the way I "protect" our privacy is that mine isn't searchable through google, etc. However, when I started, I thought only family and friends would "follow" and now I'm connected with all of you wonderful folks, ;) ;), so who knows who's looking at it! I continue to be amazed at the people who start off with "I was reading your blog"... wow!; April 6, 2009 at 11:12 PM
MW said...: I use initials. I wanted to be able to write about the harder times and conflicts without embarrassing R or potentially negatively impacting either of our careers.
I feel through a little anonymity I can be more honest.
