Poll - How much do you spend on clothes/shoes (you only!) each month?

New poll is up!

Probably 9 months out of the year, I spend $0. I did get some long sleeved shirts to go under my Signing Time shirts back in September though...

Zip... probably 10-11 months out of the year. Kind of embarrassing to admit! I usually get a gift card for Christmas and spend it in January, and yes, I count that as my "spending" even though it's a gift. I occasionally grab from the clearance rack too.

Depends on the season. I bought nothing in the summer/fall but since it's our first winter I've been snapping up sales left and right. Sucks to go from not needing a winter wardrobe to needing a full on parka!

I only buy clothes when they are on clearance, at the outlets. Sad but true! I travel a lot for work so I try to hit up the outlets after work and look for as much clearance stuff. Also, for Christmas or birthdays, I typically ask for a sweater or a giftcard. I would say the only thing that I break down and buy, as needed, is work dress pants or suit jackets.

Zero- zip - zilch - well, I spent $9 on a top from the Gap when I didn't pack enough on our trip, but that's about it.

Chad got me a new coat for Christmas.

I sewed a dress.

I love your polls! Before I was a medical student, I worked in marketing and I distinctly remember having a $100/mo. clothing allowance in my budget! CRAZY! Now, I don't have time or motivation! I buy a lot of things online and live in jeans and casual clothes anyway. Plus, there's the whole needing to spend money on more essential things, like medical school and FOOD. :)

I don't go clothes shopping every month, but I probably spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $600-$1000 in a year on clothes and accessories.

Luckily I work for a major specialty retailer, so I get a nice discount. :)

$500 or so a year, mostly around the holidays. I stopped buying clothes for myself when I had kids. Now I spend it all on them! ha! In fact, I just spent $50 on The Children's Place website about ten minutes ago. $4.99 sale!
