Poll

New poll up for ya'll. :o)

Any comments on the last poll? Who is feeling brave enough to talk about their hair? LOL! I don't have gray hair yet, but I don't think it will bother me when I do. Growing up my mom always talked about how beautiful gray hair is, and it kind of rubbed off on me. Maybe that will change when I actually have enough money to spend on my hair. :o)

JumpingJane said...: I started getting gray hair when I was 18. Every once in a while I will buy the cheap hair dye and dye it. My hair is so dark that the cheap box color looks the same as mine BUT I have no ability to dye it by myself, so my sister has to do it for me. Since we don't live in the same state anymore, I'm sadly wearing the gray and I do not love it.; September 21, 2009 at 12:46 PM

I'm not yet ready to dye though -- I refuse to do a cheap at home job because I LOVE the natural, super dark, super shiny color of my hair and I know I'd never be able to replicate it and I would be devastated if it turned out any different... but since my husband and I do not live together, I'd rather spend the money on bus tickets to see him and things to do together weekends we can see each other than on dying my hair every 6 weeks. I don't necessarily dye it because of the color but more because of the texture. Grey hair is very course and it sticks out and sticks straight up and is very hard to style!

Jaidi and EB do you have a beauty school near you? I go every two or three months and get my hair colored for $20 - can't beat it!; September 23, 2009 at 11:01 PM
