Any comments on last week's poll about eating out?

I selected once a week, and I usually go on Brad's meeting night since he doesn't like eating out and I don't like cooking for just me and the kids. But I'm really lucky. For my birthday, my mom gave me a credit card to use up to $20 a week to eat out. I know. I'm blessed. Other than that, we very rarely eat out. Let me tell you though, that is one of the things I'm most looking forward to when we actually have money. I love eating out! 3 yrs, 3 yrs, 3 yrs....

JumpingJane said...: I actually don't eat out with out J. I'm not into fast food and eating by yourself at a restaurant is just lonely. I selected once a week. I try to cook during the week and when J is on call I'm eating all the left overs or what ever experimental dish didnt go over well. But now that he moved away, I find more excuses to have dinner out with friends, and my husband doesn't complain about the cost since he is the one who chose to move away for residency!; August 31, 2009 at 3:58 PM
Alexandra said...: We don't eat out unless it's a birthday or we have a giftcard given to us. When Tom is on call, I usually do breakfast for dinner because he isn't a big fan! I love cinnamon muffins, cinnamon rolls, eggs, waffles, pancakes, chocolate milk and all that other good stuff. Of course Grant loves this too since those are his favorite foods too! Laura said...: We have 3 kids, the oldest is 13, so between football, soccer and all the other crazy stuff, we probably eat out a couple of times a week. You can't beat Little Ceasar's Monday madness $3.99 for a large 1 topping pizza!! We rarely go out as a couple. It's usually just me and the kids, or sometimes after a Saturday game, we'll all grab something from the dollar menu of the various fast food establishments.; August 31, 2009 at 5:05 PM
