Poll

I added a new poll. Just for kicks. And because I'm a curious person. :o)

Are there any comments or thoughts on the old poll about what you say when people ask what your hubby does? If it is someone I will have future interactions with, I usually say that Brad is a resident. If it is someone I don't know and probably won't see again, I end up saying he is in school. Residency is school, right? haha!

Maybe its just me, but I think there should be a fifth option of, My brain just doesn't work that way. or Medicine just isn't for me. None of the options that are there really work for me. :)

Okay. I fixed it. But you can't change a poll once someone has voted, so I had to delete it and start over. So, if you already voted, sorry! Go vote again! :o)

Bummer, you already resubmitted the poll. I wish there was a " I did at one point in my life, but not anymore."

Yeah if I could do all the guts and bodily fluids I would consider the medical field (nursing) because I think there will always be a demand... but not only cannot I not stomach it, I don't think I could get through the prereqs like physics and all the math!

My hubby's a student now and when he's done, I'll say he's a resident. The problem with saying that he's a doctor (even though he technically is) is that others (particularly non-medical people) will think that you're super rich when you're not even close with those hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. I suppose that's the best way to delay the stereotype that doctors make tons of money.
