This year is going much better than the last. My husband is an MSIV student. Life truly is as wonderful as it can be right now minus the paycheck. For all you MSIII wives, hang in there. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

MSIII has NOT been easy on us so far. *However*, compared to last year?! I'm pleased to say "a ton better", whereas my answer last year was "a lot worse" than we expected... yay for that! But really, what could be worse than last year?? :p Three cheers for MSIII. (And Jenn, glad to hear MSIV is even better).

MSIII has been a lot better than MSII for us. Of course my hubby had almost all of his elective rotations during the first half of the year. I am so not looking forward to the next 6 months, we get to start out with Surgery, then it just goes down hill from there. I am so looking for ward to MSIV, mainly because it is the end.

We reached the light this year. DrH started the research part of his Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship and what a difference it has made. Only 3 clinical months in the ICU and the rest in the lab. Real weekends off, real workable hours and a decent paycheck! Yes, this really does come true...eventually.

Hang in there, and Happy New Year to all you lovely and supportive spouses.

I have loved OMSIII WAY more than the 1st two years of school. He comes home so excited to tell me the things he's seen or done. There is still a lot more studying than I expected, but again, not like the bookwork part. He actually makes it to the kids activities this year which is a HUGE step up.

I am scared already for next year with the outrotations he will be going on from June-Oct and then interviews. Trying not to stress about it yet and just enjoy this year =)
