We don't have kids, however I'm a nurse (rotation schedule) so we go days at a time with out seeing each other sometimes. Any venting, advice, whatever is always appreciated!!MDandRNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04690055794098960293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4733275816481882855.post-48712974405202188922009-04-22T17:38:00.000-04:002009-04-22T17:38:00.000-04:00Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!! I feel especially better knowing that I can come here and talk with all of you!!

Ginny, I would be happy to answer any questions that you or your husband have about ortho. It is def. a challenging residency that's for sure! I will try not to scare you too much though, I promise :-).

Joz1234, I teach first grade (the little guys). I mostly love it, but like all jobs, there are those days where you wish you were someplace else.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4733275816481882855.post-16802665136002432842009-04-22T10:28:00.000-04:002009-04-22T10:28:00.000-04:00Glad to see you on here!! :)Glad to see you on here!! :)Beahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16701310549758745073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4733275816481882855.post-8256783869432389242009-04-22T01:01:00.000-04:002009-04-22T01:01:00.000-04:00Julie, what do you teach? The hours are not worse, it's just that they are expected to actually know ortho stuff and do surgeries on their own so that makes it more emotionally challenging. It's not the same at every program so maybe it won't be so bad for you guys.davitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14312032036319180896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4733275816481882855.post-67093278041512472772009-04-20T23:14:00.000-04:002009-04-20T23:14:00.000-04:00Hi! For some reason, the 2nd years get the priviledge of taking most of the call. Lovely!

Medicine was also the furthest thing from Kyle's mind in college. On the bright side though, the hard times provide an opportunity to grow closer to each other. The stress and constant demand can seem like a real downer, but some day he'll look back and have a chance to appreciate your sacrifice. I've made it through to the other side... the grass really is greener.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4733275816481882855.post-75981756201874604942009-04-20T19:42:00.000-04:002009-04-20T19:42:00.000-04:00Hey Julie!
