B...My husband loves surgery, 1st year res at OHSU. But he calls every third day for two minutes and says something like, "can't I be a park ranger instead?" I think it's the days when he's not in the OR that really get him down. And only seeing our family when they're asleep. Is this just residency? Or just surgery residency?
